PROGRAM UPDATE: As we begin to approach full and final disbursement of allocated U.S. Treasury funds, the Virginia Mortgage Relief Program (VMRP) stopped accepting new applications effective May 3, 2024, 11:59 p.m. and will be closing the program.
Applications started prior to May 3, 2024, 11:59 p.m. will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, with applicants at risk of foreclosure taking priority.
Due to funding limitations, please note that application submission and conditional eligibility approval do not guarantee assistance. Once all VMRP-allocated funds are fully disbursed, the remaining applications will be ineligible for assistance.
